Which Kahr, if there is one, that is about the same size as the Glock 19? The 19 is a nice gun, but I'd like one that size, but in a single stack! Thanks for any info...
If you're comparing polymer guns, the TP9 (http://www.kahr.com/Pistols/Kahr-TP9.asp)has a 4" barrel, as does your G19 (http://us.glock.com/products/model/g19).

Yes, I was talking about polymer. I see that they are advertising a CT9 on their website. I guess this is the "No Frills" model of the TP9?
Yes, I think you're right, with the biggest differences being that the barrel has conventional rifling and the front sight is pinned, rather than in a dovetail.

The introductory MSRP is $369! I may have to check with the LGS?

I prefer the P-sized Kahrs. I have the P9 and the Mag-na-ported P40 which are thinner and a bit smaller than our G19 or my G23C. The CW9 and CW40 are cheaper models. The P/CW models weigh about half a pound less than the all-steel K/T versions, and with the extended grip, "high cap" version for a spare carry, give you what the Glock version carries internally in a standard magazine. The TP/T grips present the hardest part of Kahrs to conceal carry, unless you wear more clothing than I do here in Florida... usually untucked(always) polos, shorts, and clogs. My main rig is a Kydex-reinforced Looper/Bladetech GUN belt, CrossBreed Minituck IWB, and a Tactical Kydex mag holder opposite side OWB.
P9 with ported 4" barrel and O-ring added with metal base plate:

To make the P-model grips easier to conceal, I replaced the polymer base plates on the mags in the pistols with the metal ones... black metal ones, when those became available. I added a 3/32" by 3/4" inner diameter neoprene O-ring to prevent pinches.

The ct and tp 9 or 40 are basically the same size as a 1911 commander if that helps. Go to both glocks and kahrs sites and write down the dimensions . The biggest difference is in wide. The 9 and 40 cal kahrs oare .90 and .94 the 45 is 1.01 wide.

I have a SIG 239/9mm. Nice size and shoots great! But it is a heavy weight.... I'm looking for something lighter. hence a polymer framed gun. I'll to go the LGS and see which, if any are close to what I'm looking for? They seem to have a large selection of Kahrs.

The CT9 would be close to the G19 in size.

The TP9 is a good bit smaller, but you lose almost half the ammo. Here's a pic.

I bought a 4" ported barrel from Kahr while they were on sale for $30 less. With it and the metal base plate, the P9 is about as small as I can make it. That and an 8-round extended mag for a reload gives me a much smaller package than the G19 or G23C. Those Blocks are thick, but they do give you some firepower and the triggers are pretty good, except that the safety part irritates my trigger finger.
The Kahrs ride in CrossBreed Minitucks and the Glock23C I only carried to a gun show once in the cheapie hybrid holster. I always carry the largest capacity mag as a spare for the Kahrs. The P40 is my favorite EDC.
