My CM9 went back today because it was breaking followers. I'm wondering how long its really going to be gone.

Figure on two weeks + shipping time to and from.

Mine was gone for exactly two weeks when I sent it back for the same reason.

Two weeks longer than it takes for a local smithy to fix one...... trade dollars for time if time is important.

I think I could have fixed it myself with a Dremel, but the issue is the same as having a gunsmith do, I'd be afraid that it invalidates the warranty.

I carry a Rohrbaugh R9 everyday so I'm not without a firearm while this is being done, I just curious what the turn around time is.

I got it back today so it was 10 days total from the time I shipped it to the time I received it back.

I'm going to take it to the range tomorrow.

Kahr still hasn't fixed this yet???????
My God, people have been complaining about broken followers for what seems like forever.
New customers are still having to send their brand new gun back to get the barrel fixed?
And then they're all excited because Kahr fixed it for them?

Truly unbelievable.
Oh well................

They had my P45 for six weeks.

They really bobbed the feed ramp, they weren't fooling around, but it runs fine, I put 147gr Bonded Remington Golden Sabers, 124gr Lawman TMJs and almost 50 rounds of 115gr Winchester FMJs and I didn't have any problems.

I'm happy that I have my gun back and it works, in the words of Carlos Zambrano "I not hoppy hoppy." I had to scrounge up a box and packing materials, pack the gun and drive about 6 miles to the nearest FedEx store for a problem that should have been caught at the factory, I mean - the follower broke when they test fired it at the factory - I discovered the broken follower before I ever took it to the range.

But anyway, having to wait 4 to 6 weeks would have only made it worse. It took 10 days, I have my gun back, it functions fine and I carry it with me a lot.

That's my experience as well. My CM9 has been absolutely flawless before and after the broken follower issue.

Hmmmmm...
"My car was flawless before I needed to send it back to the manufacturer and have them replace the transmission.
"Now it's flawless again".

Nobody really cares what you think. You had nothing positive to add to this forum when you showed up months ago, and you still don't. I am quite frankly surprised that the admins haven't banned you.

Oh please, I own a CM9.
This follower "issue" has gone on for months, and months, and months, and people still tolerate it.

If the admins are only looking for Kahr cheerleaders and are afraid of member who dare to criticize what is an on-going manufacturing error, let them ban me.
I promise, I won't lose a minutes sleep over.

Codegeek, you're breaking my heart.

he is asking a question that unfortunately no one can answer, but should.

Neither would we, and the air would certainly smell a little cleaner.

And btw, go ahead and edit your old post 5 or 6 more times.

Now is that anyway to treat a guy who calls himself imbecile500. Cut him a little slack, or just ignore him. He'll get tired of talking to himself.
