The picture at Buds is wrong. The CT40 is available for $288.00

Yeah Buds is showing the, CT40. Grabagun has the CT9 for 299 plus 6 for shipping

I have the CT45 I got for 269....haven't shot it yet but feels oh so sweet in my hand. I'm thinking the CT9 will feel just as good

The CT9 should make for a really nice gun. Being the same basic size as a Glock 19 but single stack, it's the gun Glock owners have been wanting for years.

Funny you say that....I noticed that my CT45 fits holsters for my now gone Glock 19

I love the fact that Kahr pistols are great quality but is anybody a little alarmed at just how cheap they are being priced? Don't get me wrong, I love getting a great pistol for a great price but it seems that they are almost giving them away. A CT45 for $269 and a CT40 for $288. It seems a couple of years ago I paid $350 for a CM9. Just seems a little troubling. Almost like they are almost giving them away. Anybody else's spidey sense tingling? Lol

Might just be that the gun companies have been overcharging us all these years... After the madness of 2012-2013, the gun world is now at a very low eb. Business is really slow in my area and, I'm assuming, everywhere else too. Could be Kahr is trying to boost sales. I'm glad Kahr is selling good guns at an affordable price.

I just put a CT9 on layaway at Buds. 315 dollars. Grabagun was cheaper at 299 but they charge 20 bucks for a layaway setup charge? I guess it is a wash price wise but the setup charge leaves a little bad taste. Other than that Grabagun has been stellar to deal with

I just handled a CT9 at my lgs and immediately put it on layaway. $319 plus tax. What a well balanced piece. I already have a CW9 but couldn't resist this one.

I got mine off layaway today. I just got finished cleaning it and prepping it according to the prescribed method in the sticky. I will shoot it tomorrow. Man I had a heck of a time walking away from the CM45 my lgs just got in. I probably would have put it on layaway if I hadn't just put a LCRX on yesterday.

I have 200+ rds thru mine with no issues except for one mag that didn't like DPX. I like it a bunch!

Hope to get mine off layaway by end of month. The new HK VP9 has really grabbed my attention though

First time out with my CT9 today. I put 100 rounds of Magtech 115 gr. fmj, 50 rounds of WWB 115 gr. fmj, and 24 rounds of Remington HTP 115 gr +P jhp downrange with 0 malfunctions. Man Kahr sure knows how to build a 9mm. This and my CW9 are both keepers. I might have to pick up a CM9 just to complete the 9mm C series trilogy.

Newbe here, I just picked my CT9 last week. I have been to the range once and 180 rounds with a couple of small problems, I fail to feed and 2 premture lock backs. Glad I found this forum and the CT9 will be worked out soon. I can not say that about my new CW380 but with this form it should be working good soon.

Xtnomad, there is an excellent sticky on this forum that describes how to prep a new Kahr pistol. I have followed it with every new Kahr I purchased and have had minimal problems. I had 2 or 3 failure to feed with my CW380 and 1 premature lockback (slide locked before mag was empty) on one CW45. All problems disappeared within the break in period.

The CT9 is my fourth Kahr (CM9 & 2- CW9s). I followed the prep recommendations here on both the gun and mags and they've all worked great. The follower on a number of my mags wanted to drag a bit on the mag release but as recommended here, a little sanding on the right side of the follower took care of it.

Yes franco45 i wished I found this site before I went to the range, But the CT9 performed well until the second box of Rem UMC 115 grain, today I took down the magizine to sand the tips and found a broken follower. If it was not for the broken follower I think it woud have performed with out a problem. I now have ordered two mag kits and will see what gets here first, the free mag offer or the parts. The 380 will be in another thread. I really like this gun and think it will be my go to gun for the range and camping. May even pick up another one before the sale ends.

I just bought one this past weekend for $309 before tax. I like the size of the pistol and plan to make it my off duty gun once broken in. I think it stinks that only one magazine was included with the gun however. So, after buying two mags and a holster when they come out I will have over $400 but that is fine. Can't wait to shoot it.

Isn't the free mag offer still going on?

I should pick mine up today. I have 3 more mags on order and I will even get the free one from Kahr. Haven't had a Kahr for a little while and will be happy to get one. I cannot believe I got this CT9 for $279 + $15 shipping. That is a smoking deal. I have a couple of CM9's and a CW9 and I keep coming back to a Kahr. You see I have a sickness, I think I have to get different guns all the time and then I come to my senses and get what I rather have. Hopefully I can hang onto this one and get more. Jim

I put 31 rounds through the CT-9 and it ran perfect. Did some polishing and cleaning and a 5# striker spring since then. Very nice shooting gun. Jim

I picked up two CT9s from Buds. $302.xx plus $20.00 for FFL. Both fired great except for one jam each. The first jam was the second round from it's first magazine. I had loaded the gun then topped off the mag. The gun fired the first round and then hung on the next round. Those were FMJs. The next jam was on the second gun. I attempted to drop the slide on a full mag and the round nose dived into the ramp. Those were hollow points.

I have put about 150 rounds through one gun and 100 through the other. I will need to shoot them some more to build my confidence in their reliability before I give up my SIG P225.

I have also received the first of my free mags. Waiting on my second.

You might want to make sure the mag follower is not dragging on the mag release. There's a sticky under Kahrtec on how to do this. Out of over a dozen mags for different Kahrs, about half the followers drug some. A little piece of sandpaper fixes it. Cleaning insides of mag won't hurt to get rid of sticky preservative. Good luck!

At these prices I wouldn't understand why they wouldn't sell everyone they have and raise the price. This gun is a Steal at that price. All Kahrs get better with the more rounds through them. I only have a 130 through mine. Has not missed a beat. Will be shooting a USPSA match Saturday to break it in the rest of the way. Great guns. Love mine. Jim
