Wow! Maybe I'm the lucky one, but I found my P45 on sale Thursday, and I took it out for some range time today.

100 rounds of American Eagle 230 gr FMJ with zero malfunctions, FTFs or FTEs.
First five rounds, slow fired, 15 feet on a half-size silhouette were all in the X-ring.

This WILL be my new carry weapon.

Awesome! Love to hear good reports. I've had my P45 since September last year and I've run about 1,600 rds through it so far.
Here's a video of 27 of those.

Welcome to the forum!
Nice shooting.
Nice looking gun but don't think I'd like those short slide serrations.

I bought a used unfired P45 a few months ago I have run about 300 rounds though it a few stove pipes but those are good for malfunction drills. shoots nice I just put some gold dots through it and they hit a little low at 35 feet they hit about 6 inches low. I will give them another try if it still does it then I may look for another carry ammo. Kahrs can be pickey but that's ok so am I. great weapon good Luck with yours.

Thanks, all. I'm going to test out 20 or so of the Federal Premium 230gr JHP and see how they feed. If those work, I'll get another practice/defend combo pack and use the FMJs for the last 100 rounds of break-in, and the JHPs for carry. This forum is full of great info, such as prep and lube discussions in the welcome threads! Thanks to the older hands for stickying so much good gouge.
