I'm pleased with the reliability and accuracy of my MK9.

This is my first Kahr and I was unsure of how we would mesh.

In any case I had to learn to dial in the sights and Kahr trigger.

This will now be my carry pistol here in Texas. It performed much better than I expected,

Good shooting. It would take me 500 rounds to make a target look like that. I have had my mk9 for 3 years & they do shoot good when you get used to the trigger. Recently I shot my mk9 better than my emp9 on that day.

I had an MK9 once. I made the mistake of trading it for an MP 9c. Sure would like to have another to go with my current carry pieces, a PCR D or Rami.....which, by the way, are the two best guns I've had in the past 5 yrs (28 handguns), which included 5 Kahrs.

i was looking for a Rami when I bought the MK9. I'm glad things worked out the way they did. The MK9 has ruined me for all other 9mm handguns. It's my opinion of perfect.

BTW. Good shooting there CPTK. Enjoy.

Just back from my first trip to the range with my MK9 - about 60 rounds of Cor*Bon 147gr FMJ and +P 115gr DPX. No problems at all, and the Hogue grips I bought for the thing helped me hang on to it. My target was about mirror image to yours, tending towards low and to the right. Guess the long smooth pull on the trigger will take some getting used to.

My MK9 is on my hip right now as a concealed carry weapon. Same pistol.

Friday night here in my hometown, I had dinner with a friend at his home in a very nice area while his wife was in Chicago.

At about 9:00 PM going home in a very nice area with $600K to $800K homes (and up), I noticed a slow moving junker Chevy pickup without its lights on ahead of me in front of the car to my immediate front. As luck would have it I left my MK9 at home when I went over to eat with my friend. We both attend the same church & he is a nice guy.

I do always carry a CZ 83 in the console though of my Jeep. In any case on a dark residential street a new Tahoe and BMW passed me at the right in the bike lane and pulled in front of the pickup. Two guys pulled the man out of the pickup and started hitting him and than pushing him on the pavement on his face.

I called 911 on my iPhone 5S but could not see any addresses due to it being very dark. 911 wouldn't or couldn't GPS my location.

I got out to ascertain what the heck & to see the name of the cross street. The left front of the pickup was badly damaged. I was on the phone with 911 as were several other people. 3 PD units did show up and a fire truck. I left and them sort out what happened.

Apparently the guy in the pickup was drunk and hit one of several brick mail boxes.

I left and let the PD take of it.

Note to self, the MK9 goes EVERYWHERE with me unless not allowed. Lesson learned.

My K9 does the same job better, for me. And to finance other guns.
