About a month ago, I purchased a P380 and i was truly impressed with the quality of the firearm compared to other similiar types of firearms.

True, there was a price difference, but I truly feel I got what I paid for.

Well, the other day I saw a CW9 and I liked the way it felt and looked. I thought very hard about a P9 vs. the CW9 but I ultimately decided on the CW9.

Last night, I cleaned and lubed the pistol and today, I have just returned from the range with a very GOOD report.

The CW9 preformed flawlessly for 135 rounds. That is all the ammo I had time to shoot today...In a few days, I will finish the break-in session with another 65 rounds.

The ammo used today was MagTech, Federal ( at WalMart for $9.87 a box) and WW white box.

The CW9 shot exactly at point of aim and the reoil was quite mild as well. Certainly less than expected.

I shot only FMJ for the break-in session but I did run a magazine full of DRT 85gr frangible just to see how they would function.

The CW9 took everything in stride and did not have any FTF or FTE or anything else for that matter.

When I shot my P380 for the break-in, I did have 2 FTF and 1 FTE during the first 50 rounds and after that there was no problem at all.

I have full confidence in this pistol now, and would carry it for personal protection even thought I have not fired the additional 65 roundss, totaling 200 as Kahr says in their litature.

I am truly impressed with this weapon and the value of the pistol vs. the price paid was well wlorth the money.

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I had a very similar experience with my CW9. It now has over 500 rounds trouble free. It is my carry pistol. Great pistol!

The CW9 is a great pistol, it is more then just a good pistol for the money. It is a very good reliable weapon, I carry mine 95% of the time.
