He plays a mean guitar. For a city boy I'm a little bit country, too.

Thanks Guys ,One of the things about Anthony is he is self taught and he also Graduated high school in May of this year. His main influence is the Blues such as Alberet King ,BB, Stevie Ray Vaughn ,Keb Mo and many others but the band also does a very wide range of Country from Johnny Cash to Jason Aldeen. Classic rock is in their show as well.
The band is playing on the average of 3 to 5 times a month and he is making enough coin to support his Gear habbit. I guess I am his "Roadie" and I really enjoy watching the crowd when they see this Kid on stage for the first time setting up his gear ,I have even heard some of them say whats that little fokker doing up there. Then he fires up his ax with some SRV's "Texas Flood" and I watch their jaws drop.

He has been playing in the local taverns since he was 16 so most of the town knows who he is, and the other guitar players in town say that he is probably one of the best here.

Nice stuff. Always good to see a kid passionate about something.

These days, any kid who's not in jail, or on drugs, and is passionate about what he does...................is a REAL good thing:music::yo:

Amen to that. He is a great example for his 2 younger sisters because he is totally against any drugs or alcohol and we raised him to be courteous and respectful

He's mighty good alright, I see why you're proud....If you like good gitpickin check out this duet with Albert King and a very young Stevie Ray Vaughn from 83...Notice that Albert is playing his flying V upside down and without a pick......Dang I sure do miss Stevie Ray, why couldn't Bon Jovi have gotten in that helicopter instead of Stevie.....

We have that DVD and have spent many hours watching it. I saw SRV twice and Albert King once before he passed I miss them both. August 26 is a happy and sad day for me because it is my Son's birthday but it is also the day Stevie was killed, I will probably catch a bunch of crap for this but I would have rather seen Clapton get on that chopper.
