Here is a brief video clip of me at the range firing my CW45. I'm shooting a magazine of Hornady Critical Defense 185 gr. FTX, which is my main carry ammo. This my first range trip since I got the gun back from Kahr after they replaced the frame due to the "short-rail" issue. The gun has been flawless, with no issues. It is a sweet shooter, although with full-power defensive ammo it is a bit snappy, much more so than my 1911's which is to be expected due to the lighter weight and more compact dimensions. My CW9 is on the table in front of me. That gun has been flawless for me as well.

Yes it does, but not always in the same direction. Sometimes straight out, sometimes over my right shoulder, sometimes over my head, and on more than one occasion right on my head! No biggie, though. The gun just plain works every time.

This past Sunday, I got nailed twice in a row on the forehead with spent casings, one even drew blood. In the future, I will wear a hat for sure whenever I shoot this gun. I am reluctant to make any adjustments or modifications as this gun has been 100% reliable (before AND after I sent it in for the "short-rail" problem) and I don't want to risk screwing that up. I'll just make sure to wear my hat...

There was a time when I had that problem with my PM45, but it went away during one of the trips back to Kahr. I ALWAYS wear eye protection and my Kahr cap with the bill as low as practical... to the front, of course!
It might have been my first trip to the range with the PM45, but my forehead was covered with black marks... that I didn't discover... until I got home... and AFTER a shopping trip to Walmart on the way home!
