I like both of my Ruger LCR's in .357. Great triggers on both. Pretty decent, but not great sights. Better than S&W at least. Good grips. They point well for me.

Here's the downside -

1. You cannot disassemble them to the point that is needed for K-Kote (GunKote) or other heat cured finish. The detent at the front of the ejector rod is captive in the frame, held in by the barrel, and the retainer is....plastic.

2. Thnk twice about taking any other item apart on the LCR. Only one part is sold by Ruger. The rest are all "Factory Fit" only. Front sight crosspin? Factor Fit. Frame screw? Factory fit. Nut on that screw? Factory fit. The only thing you can get is the grip retaining screw.

Don't get me wrong - I love the LCRs. Just, a few items folks might not realize until after they bought one... so full disclosure.

Wife and daughter each have .357 mag. They are very comfortable shooting this revolver in this caliber.
