I'd like to hear your experiences with N82 Tactical holsters. I LOVE the Professional holster for my CM9 and my S&W M&P .40c. Super comfortable and the gun hides well. So, when I got a revolver, I ordered the Original holster. Well, the Original is just as comfortable, but it lacks the polycarbonate piece that the Professional has to protect the trigger. It just has the elastic that holds the gun in place, which doesn't seem to guard the trigger much at all. Has anyone experienced this?

I have both, and while I much prefer the pro model, the original works pretty darn well also. I sometimes carry my G26 in an N82 original and I've never been concerned that the trigger wasn't protected. As long as the elastic is completely covering your trigger you should have nothing to worry about. That stuff is thick and strong and there is no way I could activate the trigger on my G26 if I tried. If it's not covering the trigger, then that's another issue. The original models are not gun specific, so it could be you need a different model.

The elastic covers the trigger, but I feel like I could pull the trigger through the elastic. I haven't tried this yet, but it seems possible. I guess my clothing provides an additional layer of protection, but I don't want to bump into something pointy and have my gun fire. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Very comfortable, but hated drawing.

I might agree about the draw on the Pro if we're talking about a full-size semi-auto. My CM9 doesn't have to be twisted to release.

My K40 needed to be twisted and I never got comfortable with it. Sold it. I've got an original now and it is much better.
The clip covers the trigger,so trigger can not be negligently pulled. Also did not want to twist to draw.

The clip does not cover the trigger, at least not with my revolver.
