So I finally am able to take another day mid-week to hit the range and finish firing the other 100 rounds to complete my P45's recommended break-in. I shot 100 rounds of American Eagle 230 gr FMJ and 20 rounds of the companion Federal Premium Personal Defense 230 gr JHP. I also tried out my new Crimson Trace guard-mounted red laser.
Only one failure to eject, and that was probably my fault -- I had already put 90 rounds thru my Tavor earlier in the day, and I was starting to get tired, so I probably limp-wristed that round.
Everything else went great, except I noticed my CTC laser would creep to the right after several rounds. I'll try tightening it up and seeing if that keeps it straighter.
And I really noticed the recoil impact in my strong hand -- didn't get it that much the first time out. Maybe it's because the Tavor had already beat me up some...
With the ball and JHP ammo all feeding and firing without major malfunctions, I'm ready to start carrying my Kahr.
