Picked up my new Desert Eagle 1911 C from my dealer today. Headed straight for the indoor range to try it out. WOW, I am impressed. It ate everything I fed it and the accuracy was outstanding. Gun is capable of shooting way better than me. I highly recommend this pistol to anyone.

Outstanding! First first hand report I've heard on the C. I have the full size and it's the same story. Never misses a beat and makes me look good even on my bad days. Ok I have more bad days than good lately but I still look good.

Great looking gun and a great shooter. A combination that's hard to beat.

Any idea if commander sized holsters will fit the 1911c?

I was blessed to get one myself a couple weeks ago.

Just a lousey cell phone pic but admissable in the court of yqtszhj.

Haven't shot it yet, time and funds but I love it very much already. If it's half the shooter my 1911G is it's gonna be a winner.

Nice looking, decent looking case too............................................... ..................haven't had a chance to handle one of those yet.............a smidge longer, wider, and heavier than my Range Officer compact. Should be a nice carrier.

The hacksaw is calling me, it begs to be bobtailed but I'm using restraint until we get to know each other intimately.

And yes I am very lucky. A good friend made it happen and you could cross the Mississippi on my huge grin. Might get your feet wet right there in the middle but a little wet feet never hurt nobody.

If you do a bobtail, how about a photo journal? I'd love to get brave enough to do that.

I'd like to add to my 1911 collection but money...... all eaten by kitchen remodel :(

I'll make it a point to do that. Two big steps.
One building up your nerve and courage to begin. And two, getting the new pin hole precisely in the correct spot. That's the tricky part, the rest is a walk in the park with a file and a hack saw in your hand.

It's a shame that no one in my area carries any of their products.......................................... ..................

It is a shame, don't see much of them around here either. Course I remember not that long ago we seldom saw any of the Kahr line up either. Now it seems most places have them and always see them at the gunshows now. Never used to see them at all.

I'm hoping the MRI and Auto Ordnance too get a little better foothold and show up more. Sure like to see em more often.
