Few weeks ago posted comment on difficulty I was having with the sight system on my Khar cm9. I had considered changing the sights but after some discussion and training from a friend of mine every thing changed. Went back to the range today and went through some defensive shooting drills, about 200 rounds. The gun was flawless and my ability to shoot this gun accurately has greatly improved. I learned a few things. Talk to someone who has the skill and knowledge to help you, work at putting that knowledge to use, and old dogs can learn new tricks! Now about this gun. I have been at this a long time and I feel certain that after a few more trips to the range this Khar will be my CC.

What 'particulars' did you learn that seemed to make a difference for you?

I was presented with two choices and instructed to pick one and stay with it. I could use the front site only or sight the way the pistol was designed to do. I chose the latter. Make a lollipop, place the front site on top of the back making a lollipop. I placed the front site on the target and brought the rear site up to it. It is important to note that this was at self defense distances, 3, 9, 12 and 15. I still have some work to do but at center mass my groups have improved dramatically.
