I have had my CW9 for a while now, 200 flawless rounds and my everyday carry. I have always wanted a PM9 due to its smaller size. I asked my local pawn shop about ordering me one. I did not figure he would be able to get one. He called me today and told me had one in stock. I paid 625 + tax for it. I think that is about the going rate, I am happy with the purchase. I have already detail stripped and lubed it up real good. I just need to go and run some rounds through her. I hope it performs as well as my CW9 did out of the box. :D

Great, hope your PM9 runs as well as the one I just bought this week. I just finished 150 FMJ throught it and 10 Hornady CD, it was flawless. I need more trigger time to learn the Kahr better. I will start to carry it now, I know run 200 rounds through it an I will next time out, however, I feel confident it will go bang.

After you have the PM9 for a while I would like your thoughts on if you will use the CW9 for CC or not. I am considering the CW9 for my next gun, that will be when I trade my Glock 23 in for it or a Glock 26.

I will have to say the Kahr has impressed me so far, I might even look for a used CW9 or 45.

guys, we've got some stuff in common, I see. I traded my Sig P238 straight up for my PM9. It's performed flawlessly! I traded a Taurus Ultra Lite .38 and some $$ for a CW9. It's performed flawlessly! After getting those 2 Kahrs my xd9sc became a dresser queen. I sold my xd9sc and bought my 3rd Kahr.....the CW45. It, too, has performed flawlessly!
Last wk at the range I actually shot the .45 better than the PM9. On my last mag with the PM9 I filled a 2" circle. On the last mag with the .45 I simply enlarged the hole with each subsequent shot. I know, I know.....this thread is worthless without pics, but I's got no pics, so you'll just have to take my word for it. I still carry the PM9 75% of the time, but that's gonna drop to about 25% of the time after my extra .45 mag gets here from tacticalarmory.com. Next up after I squirrel away more funds is the PM45. Guys, I think we've got a problem and there's no fix for it......we're gun junkies.

You guys at your age should know better than to drink the Kool Aid, I think there needs to be a twelve step program for our problem.

Until then I have a "need" for another Kahr, I might consider a CW45, it is just the ammo cost that got me holding off. I guess its time to get the reloading press going again.

I was listening to the Michael Bane podcast Down Range TV | Powered by Outdoor Channel (http://www.downrange.tv/blog/) and he mention a Dillion press that comes ready to load a specific caliber for around $325. It is a progressive one lever pull one round, I will have to give some thought to that.

More than you know. I sold my P228 last month to buy an XD c 45. I'm down to two SIG's now, but except for my CW9, my 9mm are all range guns only.

I also shoot my PM45 better than my CW9, but Bawanna says it ain't so.:)

I've been doing the old single stage rock chucker reloading, I have 3 presses set up. Can't keep up with my kids and my ammo needs. I've been researching (not a good word in recent times) and was all set for a long time to go Dillon Blue. But my findings convinced me to go with the Hornady LockNLoad. Just a better deal in all respects, not too much difference price wise. Smoother, more skookum, half step progression and you can pop in and out stages that you don't want or use it like a single stage.
I haven't ordered one up yet, my "MY" PM45 money came from that fund. Look it over before you hit the buy button.

I will take a look at the Hornady LockNLoad. I use a Lee 3 turret press now, I can load around 100 rounds in a little over an hour. If I were to get a hand primer for that process that would speed things up.

I finally got out today and shot the PM9. I put 100 rounds of WWB through her. She ran perfect, just like my CW9. I love this little pistol. It was a tack driver at 10 yards, way more accurate than I am. This one is a keeper. Got to go clean and lube now:)
