PM45 vs CM45

In my previous post I talked about the issues with my New CM45. It has been back to Kahr once and though the FTEs are better I still have them intermittently after 400 rounds so because this is a Davidson's gun I am not going to send it back to Kahr for repair again. I want to invoke my warranty and get a new gun. The problem is they still don't have anymore in stock and not sure how long till Kahr will build and ship again. I have been contemplating returning it and paying the difference to upgrade to the PM45 which since it has been out so much longer I assume the bugs are all worked out. My question is am I wrong thinking the PM45 is a better quality/more reliable gun? It's an additional $300 so if not I guess my best bet would be to wait for more CM45s to come in to stock.

I would not say the PM is any better quality. It's more refined, a little nicer to some cosmetically but basically the same. The frame should be identical.

I'd contact Kahr again and explain either by phone or email and see what they suggest. I'd ask for a prepaid return for sure.
I don't recall your original postings about issues.

There's lots of good help here, maybe go into the issues in more detail here and we can figure it out.

Kahr will take care of it given the chance, I know that having been back once already that is hard to accept but they will.

I might add that I went back and looked at your older posts and came across this: "Sent back to them as last round from every magazine was giving me a FTE (stove pipe)."
I also read that they reworked you extractor, but evidently didn't replace it.
If that is still the issue: I'd see if they would send you a new extractor.
