I'm sitting here thinkin.

The old PM9J was 110percent reliable. It ate everything. I could not make it malfunction. It was bought used, and well used at that. Now I've got to break in the new PM9, since the old PM9J was stolen.

Ordinarily this would be a happy occasion to shoot, except for the circumstances.

And, I'll have to break out Mr. Dremel, and Mr. Sanding Drum, and Ms. Cratex wheel (and her cousins) and round out all those sharp as bejeezus spots again.

~~

But, then again, a new 9093.... is a thing of joy.

~~

I am rather drained of initiative after learning the PM9J was stolen. A certain link to the "King of PM9-dom", our very own Jocko, is diminished.... the J suffix is no more.

I'll work out of the funk, but jeeze.... getting off 200 or so rounds in the back yard is gonna be a chore.

I feel your pain but you'll get thru it. Persevere my friend. :-)

Very sorry for your loss, keep your head up; your compatriots on this forum will help you through your pain.
Try to look at the break-in of the new pistol as an 'opportunity'. Endeavor to persevere.

"Endeavor to perservere" - Lone Watie, as relating what the Secretary of the Interior said.

Maybe find someone with some metal stamps and just have them stamp a "J" on it somewhere. probably on the bottom for our resident sheep rustler.

The metal stamps may have shown up. A certain forum persona has informed me of a private PM9J for sale. Naturally, I'd have to take the bait and bite that hook....

Nothing wrong with owning BOTH incarnations, no?

Sounds like a plan from here!
