Is it just me, or with the new cheaper pistol models that Kahr is selling, does it seem like even FEWER of the P45 (and other flagship) models will be sold? It seems to me that most buyers aren't willing for fork over an extra $200 or so for the differences between the P series and the less expensive models....

I think that there should be more total sales because more people will be able to afford the less expensive models. Those that could already afford the P series may or may not purchase the less expensive models, but as long as one is purchased it does not make much difference which one is chosen. Less sales of the P series due to less demand does not automatically mean they will be hard to come by, supply and demand. I don't see how it makes much difference either way.

I completely agree.....I just wondered how much it will affect the P series sales. Hopefully not enough where they quit making them. I just ordered a P45.....should make it to my FFL tomorrow hopefully.....

I'd like to be able to afford the P series Kahr's one day, I have owned a P9 in the past, it looked nicer but shot the same as my CW series guns.

Timex and Rolex, Kia and Porsche...people like choices and plenty enough are willing to pay for it. Price is never the best determinant factor and price is not cost.

yup ur right. offer both models. cheap is a poor word for kahrs. they are allquality guns, basically internally idewntical. Lower in price sounds better. I love my Porshce, and I love my Rolexs submariner, each to his own, and if the cm9 beenavailableback when I bought my PMJ9 I would have still bought the PMJ9, although I would not pass up a deal on a cm9 today, as I know the internal quality of the gun... Just sayin

I'm sure that the profit margin is the same or better for the C models than it is for the P models and profits is what business is about. By offering both Kahr increases their market share. One thing that I'm absolutely sure of is that Kahr doesn't offer both to cut their own throats. Fear not.

I'm surprised that you could spell integrity let alone have any you old reprobate. You probably bought the three Patek watches at a stop light from a guy who was wearing them all on one arm. (I'd put a smiley face here if I could.)

Yeah, honestly, the only reason I ended up with the P45 is because that's what is offered on the instructor discount list. My price with Meprolight night sights and shipping was $515. One per year from Kahr.....and with the REAL discount they offer, I never pass it up....

I'm seeing a desire to gain market share, maybe put kel tek under, then im hoping for a double stack 9 and .45. I think ole Justin M is one smart feller and has a plan up his sleeve. Has lots of new land to build a bigger plant too. Watch where they are in 5 years. Wonder if I can get a job there?
People laughed at hyundai in 1995 and now they have 2 US plants and make a pretty good car. First to offer a 10 year 100000 mile warranty too. They are a huge conglomerate in all kinds of global business and their goal is domination, not getting rich. What happened to Saturn, Oops, they are no more. Kahr may be going for the same thing and if they are, good for them. Americans will benefit. They're all made here.

To add, watch those 100 yard shooting videos they have made. Does Justin look worried? Nope. He has a plan. He's shooting his $300 dollar pistols at 100 yards and having fun doing it with his buddy. Kahr is for everyone, affordable, and accurate.

In my area, I never see any P or K pistols in the shops now, only the C's. I think if the sales numbers are low, it will drive the production numbers down. This results in less product over the same area which is lower density at the dealers. We may start to see "rare" associated with the P and K models.

So now you can say, with truth and satisfaction, "I like my guns like I like my steak -- rare."
