Would the new Kahr prep be a good read, again?

I should probably run a couple hundred FMJ's down to lap the barrel before going to the lead?

I followed the Kahr prep sticky under KahrTec on 4 Kahrs including the CT9 and they've all been 100%. Used WWB ammo for breakin. The part on mag prep is good too because about half of my mag followers needed a little sanding to prevent dragging on the mag release.

Take a couple brands of ammo lower cost good quality and some better stuff to try. Gona have to try some HP sooner or later , Gold dots and xtp run well in mine. Try some 165 gr if you can find any instead on 180gr. Hold on tight, add a soft rubber slip on to aid in grip , helps for some. I use old 1.75" used free inner tube from a bike shop.

Run the pistol wet and pay attention to control . When group size goes to heck stop shooting. Might be 50 rounds or a 100 but you will find a limit lower than say a full size 40oz cz. You'll probably find it runs great. If you end up with 180gr learn how to do a plunk test to be sure the ammo fits well. I have not run a single round of 180gr , only 165 and 155gr. Enjoy.

I can get pulled Federal 165 HST's for about 15 cents each,4 cents for powder,4 cents for primer ,all high projected costs.

I already have about 600 deprimed and polished 40 cases.

$52 for 500 RMR 165 gr bullets,$52 for Dillon dies and a Lyman M die,$18 for a 550B powder die and funnel,$33 for a 550B toolhead and 3 locator buttons before I even get to eat a cheeseburger after shooting it.

That's about a break even price on 500 rounds of factory.
I believe the above belongs here.

Greg
