problem with cw40

when shooting my cw40 the slide sticks or stays open after each shot? Same using different types of ammo and magazines. Any ideas?? thanks Bill

Welcome Bill. First thing is to make sure your not hitting the slide stop with your thumb. You can do it and not even know it.

Try shooting left handed or adjust your grip.

After that if it's still doing it, we need to visit if the cartridge is hitting the slide stop or if the slide stop spring is not adjusted properly or is loose.
