View Full Version : If Kahr made a steel frame .32 would you buy it??

Something similar to the MK9's more of a Kahr SeeCamp if you will... Similar price point as Seecamp, would you buy one??

Personally I'm kinda fond of small guns, don't know why just always have been...

No knockdown, drag out fights with interlube blood all over the place because of a caliber war, just wanting to know how many of you would find interest in them...

I would most likely buy one after I dumped something around the house to fund one...

I could see Bawanna's custom grips on it now.. :)

I have a steel .380 that is pretty durn small and is part of the Kahr family: Micro Desert Eagle. You could check that out... I probably wouldn't be too interested in a .32. This one does it for me.

I might if they made it in polymer, but my Kel-tec P-32 has been flawless through countless rounds. I don't see why I would want it any heavier.

A "MK32" would have to shed about half it's weight to be in the Seecamp realm. I'd be interested only if it compared in the size, weight and reliability of a Seecamp, which is a really tiny pistol.

I'd really be more interested in a .22lr in a P sized Kahr. Ten rounds in the mag and reliable feed would be a hit.

Beretta was supposed to come out with a tiny .380 (Pico) and the advertising blurb said it would be available with a .32 conversion barrel and mag. I've never seen one.
so email Kahr and tell them you want a .32 conversion kit for the CW380. (you won't get a reply, but ya tried.) for a metal .32 with a track record see the Beretta Tomcat.

for some reason .22's aren't really flying off the shelf these days, all the beards are hoarding and gouging the prices at gun shows... I did however beat a few to the punch and actually was able to score two bricks of 525 not long ago, $23ea out the door...

off topic here but its pretty sad I didn't realize there was a .22 CRISIS until about two months ago as my stash over the last 5yrs had dwindled down to 3/4 of a large folders coffee can, so I started browsing the stores and low and behold no one had any... got on the net and found out its been going on for a long while now...

pretty sad, sad indeed.. Heard from a guy Dicks had some in stock, called them it was 20mins before closing, I told the wife I'd be right back and explained why (now I'm the crazy one) jumped in the truck and made it there 5mins before closing, they had 4 bulk packs left (one per customer per day) picked one up, and scheduled work the next day around me being at Dicks when they opened, (wife realized I was crazy) I was the first to the customer service counter, walked up there and the lady (which I've never seen) went right to the closed and locked cabinet and turned to me and said "we have one left", I asked her how she knew I was there for .22, "you came up with nothing in your hands"... she rings me up and asked others that had formed a line "if anyones here for .22 we're out"... 3 out of the 5 in line started for the door... That means 2 people the night before when I left 5 mins for closing had went in and bought 2 boxes, boy did I feel good to get the last box...... SAD I KNOW>>>

Topic: I have an old Beretta 950bs jetfire which is smaller than the newer ones, but its in .25.. fun little gun but expensive to shoot so It remains lonely..Not really in the market for a mouse gun just curious who would like to see Kahr do something like that.. I don't like conversion kits whatsoever so that's out for me, maybe the seecamp market has a tight hold on buyers, but I would think there are enough metal framed MK fans that would love to see one from Kahr... I almost picked up a seecamp a few times, I'm sure I'll pick one up oneday just for kicks and as I always tell the wife, you buy a gun right (used) and its money in the bank.... she understands this believe me, as every gun I've ever bought I break even and in most cases come way out ahead... Just sold an old Remy .22 galary I bought 13 yrs ago for $200, did nothing to it and sold it for $625.. this is a cycle it seems and she's on board when I pony up cash for a gun I'm buying off someone local...

I like me some .22 and wouldn't mind seeing that as well...

Details on the holster on the right? It looks a lot like the Mitch Rosen Premier, but doesn't have a logo stamped on it. Is it a knock off/copy? If so, where and how much? I'd like to get a nice OWB for my CM9 and I really like that.

As to the thread's subject, I have no interest in .32. .380 is as small as I want to go and honestly, the CW380 just disappears--it's easy to carry.

I'd be interested if it was polymer. I front pocket carry and can't see carrying a .32 that weighs the same, or more, than more powerful rounds.

There is no use for a .32 auto in the family, even from kahr.

I bought a KelTec .32acp years ago before they made the 3AT. Cute, and fun to shoot. Shoots just as fast as I can pull the trigger. Would not be interested in another .32 acp. If my CM9 is too large, I will carry my CW380.

Well I figured there would be a few seecampers in here, I wouldnt buy one if it were polymer I have no real world use for a .32 would only have one for nostalgic reasons from times past.... Fun to shoot and challenging, and for those who said they are useless I could say the same about a .45 or ???, a blanket statement that means nothing in the real world, a guns a gun period..

.32 really doesn't interest me.
My stainless steel micro pistol?
Kahr MK40 Elite.
I like launching 180 gr Speer GDHP Short Barrel rounds from the 3.0" barrel.

I think the .32 in a P380 size, or as a conversion kit, may be good for weaker handed people as the recoil springs would be lighter and easier to rack. The .32 is not much, but it is more reliable than rimfire, and having a gun is the first rule.... I personally would like a "full" sized .380 from Kahr, like a 3.5-4" barrel, 8 or 9 +1 rounds and skinny as the P380. The recoil springs would be softer due to the increased mass of the slide, and the grip would be long enough for most shooters to feel more comfortable with, unlike the P380 and its stumpy little pocket handle. 22LR conversion kits for any of the Kahrs would be nice as well.....

For me, not having a stumpy little handle would defeat the purpose of the 380 version.

No interest in a .32 but a reliable .22 hmm. That peaks my interest a lot more.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I like the CW380 size plenty, I am just making conversation. Hell, a Steel framed MK380 would rock in my opinion, and still weigh less than a pound....... But the Steel .32ACP would be interesting for Kahr, to see how soft a shooter that would be, I would pick one up....

I had a .32 Beretta Tomcat, and traded for something more substantial. I'd rather have a .22 with a few more rounds in the mag. The one nice thing about the Tomcat, was the tip up barrel, where you could chamber a round without racking the slide. That was good for people that couldn't grip the tiny slide very well. I think they have a .22 with the same feature, in the same size pistol, or perhaps it is Taurus that does a knock off of the Tomcat in .22.

About the only .32 I am remotely interested in, is the .32NA, a .32 bullet put on a necked down .380 case. It's a North American Arms specialty caliber for one of their pistols, and I imagine ammo is very rare. It does give the .32 bullet a lot more punch, but what good is it if only one company builds a pistol for that round, and only a couple of companies make ammo for it?

back in the day those 32 were indeed world class, as the 32 back then was accepted by many. Today those pictured are still worlde class, except interest has went south. Utter than that seacamp. the utters are way to big for a 32 today, Just sayin

No, I have a P380 and don't need anything smaller or lighter.

Seems if I wanted to carry a .32, I have a Colt pocket automatic in .32acp...

Made in 1916.

I have the entire spectrum covered from .22LR to 45acp. Whatever fits my mood on a given day. Peace
