thanks to Kahrtalk, I found a guy who wanted to swap guns. he's younger and can handle the .45, the CM9 will fit in my jeans better, and is easier to shoot.

Nice. I can easily pocket my CM9.

Actually, I don't know if it will be easier to shoot, but it will fit better.

I hear you. I have a different .45 ACP that doesn't get much carry because of its size and weight. Of my 3 carry guns my PM9 probably gets 90% of the carry.

took the new CM9 and the CW9 to the range this morning. CM9 ran perfect. CW9 always runs perfect. my only experience with subcompacts has been renting a few 380's. not good for me. so I was wondering if the CM9 was going to work. works fine.
here's a video on the subject--- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG_PjQz9ZPY

I have a PM9 which I carry if forced to use a pocket. However, I much prefer my CW45 if I can cover a belt holster.

My MK9 is a beast and does it all. :)

I'm glad it worked well for you Marc, it ran perfect for me, even with the extended mags, I liked shooting it more than I did the CW9 for whatever reason, hope to get the CW45 out next week, I found 100 rounds for it so just waiting for my day off .

Decado,
here's a drill for you. with loaded gun in hand, look at the target, bring the gun up into the line of sight, still looking at the target get the front sight and then the rear sight lined up on the target (close enough for W.Va.) and pull the trigger. hold the trigger back after the shot and still looking at the target, get the sights back on target and let the trigger reset. pull the trigger again. double tap on a paper plate at 15' in about a second or 2?
(I'm liking the bicycle inner tube on the grip idea, thanks.)

I put those on all my Kahr's cheaper than a houge and it does not spin around like the houge does after firing a few mags.

the original frame for the CW45 that Kahr replaced had most of the "wood rasp" stippling on the back strap sanded off. I can appreciate Kahr not wanting a shooter to drop the gun, but the inner tube solves the problem, better. start a store on ebay and sell tactical tubes?

Lol tactical inner tubes, "for purposes tactical", my daughter is going to have to catch a few more flats to supply me inventory.
