Grabagun lowered their price on the Remington R1 1911 .45 to $529 ($5.99 shipping plus tax & $25 FFL fee) - and Remington is running a $75 rebate on them! Picked mine up today:

But wouldn't you know it, my brother went to a local gun show Saturday and bought one for $500 + tax ($541.25 OTD) - no shipping & no FFL fee and will of course get the $75 rebate. :mad:

Oh well, mine will still make a great truck gun, but I gotta get me a truck first. :D

The price you paid will long be forgotten after you shoot it a bit. Average it out over the number of rounds you put thru it. I think you got a heck if a deal.
