View Full Version : Nobody carries magazines for these Kahrs!

I cannot find more magazines for these little Kahrs (CW380 and CM9). I tend to buy stuff like that locally so I can support the stores (because there's not usually a huge price difference between local and online for stuff like that) and return it if I have a problem, but nobody around here carries them! Where do you guys get extra mags from? CheaperThanDirt seems to have the best price, but I'm leery of them. I just want a couple more 6 rounders for backups.

What locale are you in? I have found here in the south east, Kahrs are not that common, so you have to hunt for the right shop..... I agree with the buy local stuff when there are reasonable prices for things... Kahr lists the CW380 mags for $40, you can find them for about $34 on line. I found them locally for $36+tax, or about the same as the online price with shipping... so Local it is... If however the local place was going $42, I would have ordered them....

Midway USA has them for both. CM9 uses PM9 mags, CW380 uses P380 mags

That might be the better route since I'm not fond of CtD and I don't want to deal with eBay for nearly the full retail cost. At $32/ea, I can order a few and absorb Midway's somewhat high shipping costs. Plus, there's always something else there I "need." Thanks! :typing:
I'm in Georgia--northwest of Atlanta to be exact. We even have a brand new Cabela's that doesn't carry them. I know they're not super popular pistols around here, but sheesh!
I just thought it was weird that you can't find them in any stores around here.

Have you ever asked if your LGS will order them for you?

I will check them out. I didn't specifically ask the LGS if they'd order them, but he didn't volunteer when I asked if they carried them either. I'll ask next time I'm in there if I don't order them from the above first. Thanks!

Yup, how quickly we forget they are nothing more than sensationalists for a buck (CTD). I am less mad about their pricing during the sensationalisim (free markets and all...) than I am about pulling the rifles off the market for "sensitivity" issues, but selling the crap out of them now..... pick a side of the fence and own your position...... nothing worse than a fair weather friend, which is not really a friend but a velvet cloaked enemy in your time of need. It is like sitting down in a chair someone has just pulled away, of course this extends to Dicks SG (how did we not see that coming with the name anyway...)
By the way, IvanhoeOutlet has some outstanding prices.....

My thoughts exactly RemanG. Same with Dicks Sporting goods. I won't support them.

What is their shipping like. Bud's has the mags for $24 but charges $9 to ship one mag.

Hmmm. How close to Canton? Cherokee Gun n Pawn ought to have some Kahr Mags, tho to be honest I have not been in the store and they may or may not have them. I found Kahr Mags at their sister stores tho, Dawson Gun n Pawn and Forsyth County Pawn.

It's a hike. Over an hour from me. I do want to get up there to see the place sometime, though. This weekend, they are matching the PSA deal from Labor Day--$299 for a CM9.
I'll probably end up getting a couple from Ivanhoe--good prices. My free one from Kahr should arrive today too. I like to have at least 3 or 4 for each pistol I own.

LOL... it was my first time using them, and hastily I only bought them because they had them and were cheap.. I too like to support B&M stores but online is much more convenient than driving all over town trying to find something no one will most likely have...
I'm not sure where CTD stands politically but if someone can give me something solid then I won't be a return customer, but as I said earlier for $24 a mag and $6 to ship two of them along with a desantis holster doesn't seem out of line to me.... and I was impressed nonetheless...
as far as Dicks goes, I don't give them my business other then me HAVING to buy bulk .22 there... which has only happened twice, if they have it I will buy it, sad but that's where we are at with .22.... I have kids and we shoot ALOT soooooo, please don't shop there and leave me some more .22lr... :) If I could find it somewhere else I wouldn't step foot in dicks...

wow, thanks for that I had no idea....
I think they were just overwhelmed with orders after Sandy Hook and merely stated 72hrs to ship, I don't think by their language that they had any intent to pull firearms entirely.... Unless of course we read between the lines, you just never know I guess....
