mag reassembly

I know it's here somewhere, but can't find it...........................................when reassembling the magazine, does the open end curve of the spring go towards the front or the rear??????????????????

Been awhile for me since I had a mag apart but I never paid attention to open end. I just orient the spring the same as the mag so the longest point is to the front. I don't think there is a top or bottom so basically it can only go one way and be correct.
We have seen a few installed bass ackwards but obviously someone weren't paying attention.

That is the way I did it..............the top of the spring has a curved open curve, and a curved closed curve............depending if the spring is facing left or right. It seems to work both ways, so I don't know how you could install one backwards? Both ends are the same...........................

Believe me, if there was a way to install a spring backwards, Bawanna would find it. Ain't you glad I always got your back, Bawanna. :)

The open end of the loop should point toward the rear of the mag. If you install the spring with the open end pointing toward the front of the mag it will bind.
