A few weeks ago I sent out my CM9's slide and slide lever to MOD1 Firearms to have some work done. I had shopped around and finally decided to go with Pike's company due to the fact that he had recently worked on a CM9 that I had seen in Personal Defense Magazine that looked amazing (http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?24755-Customized-CM9-Check-this-out) AND his prices were better than most others I had checked. I had MOD1 add front cocking serrations to the slide and then Cerakote it, along with the slide stop lever, Graphite Black. I am absolutely thrilled with how it turned out and cannot recommend MOD1 Firearms enough. Below are some photos though they do not do Pike's work justice...

That looks great! How do you like those stippled patch/thumb rests on the front of the frame? I have those on my favorite CZ and find they really help keep the gun stable for double taps and stuff.

Well done. Thanks for the gun porn.

The thumb patch is actually a piece of rubber grip from Talon that I cut down to size. I ordered an extra piece to try it out. So far it's working pretty well, though it is starting to lose its stickiness a bit from rubbing on the holster. I'll probably end up stippling it at some point.

Please do! That is some sharp work, I imagine that you did not want to break it in until a good 200 hours (rounds?) was spent looking it over.......

Took the CM9 out to the range yesterday in the rain. Put another 150 flawless rounds through her! Afterwards, while cleaning it I noticed that the front Trijicon night sight I installed was completely loose. It came right off in my hand and appears to have broken off of the screw...I emailed Kahr about it last night and I'm really hoping they send me another, free of charge. I followed all the installation instructions and yesterday was the first time I had fired the gun with the new front sight.

In case anyone is interested, Kahr CS just let me know that they will be sending me a replacement Trijicon night sight free of charge. Once again Kahr customer service did not disappoint.
