I have a powerline 45 which is a CO2 pellet pistol..

was thinking about giving it to my little 15 year old brother in law as a christmas present.

was trying to figure out how to "field strip" it, and would like the trigger smoother and lighter..

anyone have any familiarity with it?
i can only find one screw in the frame

thanks!

I believe that if you remove the grip panels that you'll find more screws. I wouldn't mess with the trigger though. I'd also be very wary of giving a pellet pistol to a 15 year old unless he's mature and well supervised. Pellet pistols can kill.

In my collection of guns I have a good selection of pellet pistols and rifles. Daisy's included. There will be very little you can do to the trigger when you get it apart except make it where it won't work at all, or at least be very unpredictable. Muggsy is right about being careful about giving it to someone unless they are very responsible. The old springers were not too bad, but these new ones can be very deadly.
