How does one grip the grip with wet or slippery hands?
Like sweat from a adrenalin rush, or blood from an injury
Instead of using Dawn liquid to slip the grip up,put some soap and water or Crisco on the inner tube grip and see what Dawns on you :w00t:.
As Always YMMV and probably will.

I just start pulling and tugging at it tell I easy it into place 1/32 of an inch at a time. Well at first then 1/4" here and 1/4" there , roll it down and pull unroll and check. It will pull up on. Finger tips will be sore when done . It hardest to get it started. Never used any helper sprays.

The question was and still is-Suppose you get a bloody hand from defending yourself from a knife or other edged weapon. Your hand is covered in blood and is slimy, how the heck will you be able to handle the gun??
There is a valid reason why the Kahr grips are like cheesegraters.
I posted a new thread so as not to hijack yours

I put one on so I can hold on to it. Wet does not matter for me as it has seen wet in my hand . Bloody and slimmy you all ready screw up , dial 911 too and I'll let you figure out. 28 years of cc and no blood yet. Take the covering off and throw it away and let the "cheesegrater" do what it will .
I have hunted for 46 years had a bloody hands doing that a few times you could say. Hogue rubber dimpled revolver grips still work well when wet , pachmyers also . Slick poly coated wood stock on a 12ga still works well. Guess its part mind set. Your mind is set its slick.

I think in my mind your gonna be shooting the pistol alot more at the range, training, practice whatever than you ever will defending in a fight with bloody or wet hands.
Best to keep it comfortable for the majority use time. I stippled mine and did away with the innertube myself. Kind of a happy medium. A good grip texture but not quite as aggressive as the cheese grater.

If my hands are covered in blood it will be my lifeless aggressors blood, not mine. :)

I only shoot a mag or 2 at the range each visit anyway . Then I walk back to the barn and put a glove on if I'm shooting more.
