I have had my CM 9 about four months now and have moved it to my EDC. It took awhile to adjust to the combat sights but it was worth the ammo it took to get there. This is the best carry weapon I have ever used for that purpose. I can't afford the higher end pistols. This Khar is a quality pistol at an affordable price and its reliability has proven to be excellent. This pistol is made for one thing and one thing only. When I went to the range the first time with it I knew then It would be a keeper even though my accuracy left a lot to be desired. Simple advice for first time owners of this pistol. Throw the bulls eye targets away, forget the group size and practice using this CM 9 as intended for self defense. I use 8 inch pie plates at seven yards. I figure if I can keep the shots in the plate that's good enough. I will set up the plates on different boards, number the plate and my shooting buddy will call random numbers. This keeps me moving and also makes using the front site come natural. The CM 9 is for up close and personal and Khar has built a pistol that does that well. Remember this is no suit, shirt and tie pistol; this is a tee-shirt, jeans and old shoes pistol that works best in the dirt.

Glad you are enjoying it. Mine is my constant companion as it is 100%. After 2 years of practice it is quite good at bulls eye shooting as well. I have gotten to where I can get a 3" pattern at 7 yds. Nothing to brag about, but as you said it is not a range pistol. I didn't like the trigger at 1st, but now it is my favorite.

Nothing I have compares to my CM9. Totally reliable, easy to carry, and easy to use.

Just messing around once I shot at a man-sized sillouette with my CM9 at 50 yards. hit it with first shot. missed on the second. hit it with the rest of the magazine. I like the trigger.

I agree. Too many of us practice with our SD pistols as if they were intended to be target pistols. Once you've laid the foundation with square range shooting I think it very important to move on to training and practice such as you've mentioned.

Minute Of Pie Plate at 10 yards is close enough for me and the women I go out with.

I have to disagree with one thing. The handsome black and stainless design does indeed go quite nicely with a suit and tie.

My MK9 is my constant companion in Austin, Texas.

The more you shoot it the more accurate it gets. I can keep seven shots within a 3" circle @ 21 feet rapid fire with my CM9. It helps if you start life as a double action revolver shooter.

Have only been a Kahr owner for a few months now. CM9 & CW380. Both now have 200+ rounds and shoot everything I put in them. of course , I only buy USA made ammo. I love the simplicity of the Kahr and they have the best double action only triggers I have experienced. IMHO, perfect concealed carry weapons.

naw, shot DA guns for years, results were the same with me. Every gun I owned had a bad barrel, I am living proof that praqctice does not make perfect.. If ur my age, every person was a shooter back in the day.

3"
is great, accept it, I sure would. I brag about 6" groups at 3 yards...

^^^ YEP! And I'm still a double action revolver shooter (and will always be).
