I was reading around and found "Your Kahr modifications (http://www.kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?23901-Your-Kahr-modifications&highlight=cm9+ejection+port)" and a link to some work done on a CM9 by Greg. exactly what I was looking for.
file and dremel surgery will happen this week. going to relieve the sharp edges around the ejection port. take a little off of the slide stop as long as it's apart.

Pre and post pictures please... And let us know what you thought to be the difficult parts.....
Just did my second PM9
Folks show all this melting and blending and bubbification on their Kahrs. Not needed. You mentioned ejection port, and that is the place that needs a little - very little - TLC. The other place is the front of the slide stop and "maybe" the bottom of the slide stop if you're prone to hold opens during firing.
I'll have some pics later too.
The whole idea is to not to need to make the pistol resemble the nozzle for a high colonic.
You jus have to round off the sharp that would hurt ya, or snag on clothng or upon un/re holstering.
And thats all ya gotta do. Any more than that, and yer guilty of perhaps fashioning a surrogate phallus.

My CW380 may be a step up for me then..... gonna have to melt it like ice on a hot parking lot in the Alabama summer sun.....
I seriously like the severely melted look, but that is just me anyway....

Crapola images.... but I think it gets the point across. That sharp area at the front of the port, the face of the rear of the port, and the slide stop. The first one will getcha if you're unlucky. The last two will rip a leather holster. Anything more is ... not needed... strictly vanity at that point.

Well it's your gun and you should do with it as you wish.
Just be aware that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the modifications which you make and adore, may hurt resale value, as far as others are concerned. But if you're like me, you believe that guns are made to be bought, not sold--so it shouldn't be a problem.

As has been said "Opinions Vary". If that is all that you require on your pistol, then enjoy! :yo:

yes, that's the problem-- "holster ***". CM9 is trying to eat my kydex holster. might be slowing down my draw speed (believe me, that's a joke).
I recon there's a reason a turd is shaped the way it is - and that is - so it slips out easy!
To each his own - my opinion is mine, naturly.
Then again, lotta water under my bridge, and miles under my ass.... what folks think they need, and what they really do, is most times not the same thing.
However - there is a soft spot in my head for things that are mechanical, and beautiful, so whatever you do, do a good job, and don't flock it up so that it comes out like a stainless *****.

I actually like the CW look over the P look. The lower cost manufacturing that produces the angular slides seems more aesthetic to me, sort of a practical, square look. Now a good slide melt gives a pistol a worked in and comfortable natural organic look. The key is good, like with the CW vs P the CW looks better to me, but they are both good from an aesthetic point of view, very good in fact. A good melt job just ads to the base of the aesthetics the pistol comes with, the "Fett Effect" so to speak....
You can resell everything, how much loss you are willing to accept is another thing however. If you were to resell an "ugly" or "bubba'ed" pistol, let me know if you have to go below half price for anything not involving mechanical or function issues... seriously, who wouldn't buy a perfectly functioning pistol that looked like hell for half off? Everyone needs a trunk monkey gun anyway, or tackle box worm farm starter, or whatever you call your "ugly" guns. Then because of the price, they have their own beauty about them.... People spend tons of money on wall hangers that do not even function if you need a counter point....
Besides, if I could make the real phallus bark like my CW380, I would have no need (or just a want) to do this, but a larger surrogate phallus is good too........ A good melt job would also make the nudist camp kiester carry method easier on both the draw and re-holstering....
Oh hell yes it does. Ya know how you can marinade a steak in say... wine, or bourbon, and it not only flavors it but tenderizes it?
Well, pretty much the same thing, ya know... :p

And some of us prefer the natural flavors of prime beef.
