I'm in the market for a new holster for my K40 Elite. When I go shopping there are no options for this gun. Which Kahr polymer pistol is the equivalent?
This next question will start the real battle. What brand IWB would be the most recommended? I currently carry OWB in a Winthrop holster and really like the quality, fit and comfort. I need a tuckable, preferably one that is not a nightmare to wear and tuck. I'm 5"6" @ 220# if that helps. Thanks!!

What ever fits a cw9 , p9 will work for your k9. and to say this or that is best is like saying the same thing about a handgun . I have been cc for 28 years and for the last 6 years + I have used a kahr in a comp-tac minotaur with the un needed lower leather cut off. in a 2:30 position. I ,like many have a small box with a few holster in it that were not quit right for me. But others love them. I am 5'-9 and 240lb. My holster was bought for a cw9 but I now CC a larger tp40 in it.

Now I had hand surgery and had to carry a softer shooter for a couple months so I used my wifes same set up the same way to show a large hand gun is easy to cc there to.

For another couple brands Garrett holsters has some interesting designs and Cooks Holsters has some simple adjustable kydex products, we have two in the family 1, for a kahr cw9 my 5'-9 daughter uses. Kirkpatrick for all leather 3:00 to 4:30 holster of quality. And many more.
A NC holster maker I have used for a owb make some real nice holsters - https://www.facebook.com/Nelson.holsters

High Noon.............................................. .......
I have a Alessi holster (made by Alessi) for my k40. I think they call it a belt slide now, not sure if they still make them for the k40. I would call it a pancake. It pulls the gun in very tight to my side. There are plenty of holster makers that make them for k40. If your just looking locally you may have a problem.
Kahr's web site has holsters for the K40 as well. http://www.kahr.com/K40-Holsters/K40-Holsters.asp
