Wally World Ammo (lots!)

Just a report -

Local Wally World had well over 5000 rounds of 9mm, 40cal and 45acp when I went there this afternoon. After about a half hour to get someone to wait on me, I got some 9's for the PM9. Asked about .22LR, and the clerk said they get a few mixed shipments once a week, but only a case of Federal and some CCI Stingers lately in .22, and they go almost immediately.


Anyway, things are loosening. The WWB's were 13.88 per box, not a terrible price

after waiting for a year the LGS got some .22 in. I got 100 CCI CB Long's for $10.95 11 cents to scare a squirrel, outrageous!

Gander has it in their store, you can get 325rds for 24.99...still too high

I was outraged when the price of WWB bricks went from $6.99 up to $7.99.

In under 2 weeks I got all the .22 I want (5000 rounds) at about 5 cents per round. Brassbadger.com shows when walmarts get ammo in stock. I had mixed results asking the clerk on the day it showed up on the site. Some would check and bring it out, others just said they didn't have any. What worked best was just showing up at 7 am the day after it showed up on the site. They bring out and stock what you already know was delivered the day before.

The newest Wallyworld near me has plenty of range ammo of most calibers except .22lr.

Was in there earlier today and picked up a 100 round box of Remington .45ACP 230gr FMJ for $39.97. Ok, but no great shakes.
