Yesterday had the 380 out for more testing... I shot PMC brass handloads this time, flatpoints 100gn.... no problems whatsoever returning to battery !!!!
150 rounds through it yesterday now brings it to 800+ rounds....
3 times in this trip I would squeeze the trigger and just a very small click, not like the striker releasing but just a click not a full trigger for sure, kinda like half reset??
which is odd to me because I had no failures, every round ejected thus bringing the gun to reset...
anyone experience this???

Only time it's happened to me, the slide was not QUITE forward (returned to battery). It wasn't totally obvious until you really looked. I'd tap it forward with my thumb and pull the trigger and bang. Mostly, this has happened on the first round chambering with flat-nosed bullets. I'm still within the 200 round break-in, though.
If it's fully forward (did you tap it or just eyeball it), I don't know what it would be.

I didn't know that PMC offered flat point bullets. The only PMC that I've seen was ball or hollow point ammo. Were those factory loads or someone's reloads?

sorry, didn't clarify..... I've learned by trial and error that my 380 doesn't like mixed brass... in its defense some of my brass is in pretty bad shape and some need to be culled.. I have found that it eats my PMC brass 'handloads'......loaded with 3.5 CFE and Xtreme 100gr flat point..... feeds fine btw....
problem does resemble FTRB but it was completely in battery.... again it only happened a few times but it was odd, when you want a bang you get a spongy light click..one time even after I 'reset' it did the same thing, had to 'reset' like three times before a bang...
when I 'reset' I left the round chambered and just pulled the slide back far enough for reset so this may also been a false reset and user problem, I was just to lazy to eject round....
EDIT: I do have 1K new (once fired) brass and have loaded some,In the future I will do another test with the kahr and see if it will eat once fired 'mixed' brass....

Make sure your striker isn't broken or about to break. I had a rash of FTF just before mine broke.

It may have been a fluke we'll see next time I take it out, but if it does it again I'll detail strip it again..... for the 3rd time :)
