Not a matter of what it looks like, the problem is what it feels like. It of course doesn't let the pinky sit under the grip like a 6-round, but it also doesn't give the same rest for the pinky as a 7-round. It's not comfortable having the pinky along the bare mag getting beat up between it and the bottom of the grip frame.

Someone with a larger 9mm Kahr can put this to better use.

I have the 7 round mag for the pm9 it has a different base plate then the one in the Kahr link. It's similar.
