XDs fun

My wife went shopping today and picked up an XDs in 9mm. I hadn't played with one before. It actually looks really nice. Tomorrow she wants me to help her clean it and then we should get out to the range. Sounds like a good day.

I prefer the XD line over Glocks. The pistols are designed/mfg in Croatia and those Croatian's have been shooting each other for decades. So....they must have some idea on how a pistol should work, right?

I have a full size in .45, never shot the smaller version, let us know what you think about it.

Correction, the Croatians have been shooting Serbs for a long time and vice versa.

I have been thinking about trying the new XDs 45 in 4.0 length. Have read good reviews.

Got he XDM compact 3.8 45 love it the big problem is the new Springfield Armory. If you need parts and there are not many you can buy you have to send the gun back for a simple part that you can drop in

I hadn't checked in a while, but it seems to me that Brownells has more parts available for Springfield Armory pistols now:

noticed that there are 6 parts not numbered (N.A.) for the xdm slide. one, maybe two are springs! need smithy fitting????

Cleaned and prepped today. I ended up having to work, so the range will be later.
