New gun.................

Well, yesterday, I sold my beautiful 100% condition speed six to a nice gentleman. He had fallen last year, and screwed up his wrist, and can't operate semi's too well anymore. When he opened the box to look at it, I thought he was going to cry. He said it was a lot nicer than he had expected. I asked him if he wanted to give me more money then, but he declined. Anyway, it went to a good home, but it hurt, hurt real bad...............and I told him so:rolleyes:, but it went to a good home. So, after much contemplating, I immediately purchased another firearm, just to make the hurt go away. Bought a Springfield Range Officer Compact. Pics and range report to come.........................................First 1911 in 40 yrs. of shooting..........ought to be interesting.

Range officer compact..... Dang, I can think of almost no better morphine for the dread "apistola nongunneritis" disease than that.

I'm hoping everything goes well........saw it yesterday but can't pick it up until tomorrow....................foolish 2 day waiting period......it's like they think that if I was going to kill someone, a 2 day wait would change my mind:o Cheap mags as usual for 1911's, otherwise, looked nice.
