I teach students using a SIRT laser trainer in the Glock configuration as that was the only model available at the time. Great trainer, but not for a guy that does not shoot Glocks at all, like me.
Until yesterday when I stumbled into this beauty with only a couple of miles on her.
Yes, it has already been detail stripped and all innards polished this morning. Thank you, YouTube.
Somebody help me, I am way too old for more guns.

Not a fan of the Glock trigger, but.... congrats!

One of my favorites.
Fortunately, I already have Glocks. So I ain't be tempted.
Don't care for the grip angle, the trigger should by all rights be annoying, and double stacks generally don't work well at all with my smaller hands. Despite all that and oddly, I like and shoot my G23 really well...in either .40 or 9mm.

You are right, it has a weird trigger. They vary from gun to gun too. My 30s is better than the g19 gen 4. I did polish all the internals in the g19 yeaterday though which got rid of the grittyness. Who makes the best drop in trigger for one? Seems like we have a certain moderator on this forum that may be a glock armorer who may have some info. They make a bazillion different connectors for them that claim to work miracles.
I will say the gen4 grip and the SF frame on the 30s are much better than the originals to my hands.

Congrats! The 19 is a great choice, small enough to conceal, while big enough to get a full comfortable grip and has 15+1 rounds of persuasion. I was on the fence about the Gen4 until I bought my G20 10mm Gen4. I fell off the fence! Love it!

That looks very nice... Now get a couple of cases of ammo for it to reprogram the trigger... The reprogramming will be in your software, you know it is complete when you pick up something else and go "this trigger feels funny...."

You can also have an armorer put the 8 lb trigger in easily. It has a totally different feel and feels lighter than 8 lbs. I've carried a 23 for 14 years everyday, several thousand rounds through it. Swap out the recoil springs every few thousand rounds.
