I bought a cw40 a 3 or 4 years ago. I love the gun. I have never had any issues with feeding or ejecting. The one thing i do have a problem with is either the recoil or the the trigger. It feel like i dont know when it will go off a.d then the recoil in such a light gun. Notvsure of its both working together or just one thing. But i am thinking about getting a cw9 or something different. Not really sure what to do. I havent been to the range lately, my wife and i had twins so no range time

You either like .40 or you don't. There's not much middle of the road. I do. Shoot the crap out of it and, if you still feel that way, get a CW9.

Congrats on the twins!

My CW40 was one of my best shooting pistols until I bought another CW45 and sold it.

Everyone has their limits. It sounds like the .40 exceeds yours. It's one reason for starting a new shooter with a .22LR. Once you become accustom to the noise and recoil of the 9MM you maybe be better able to handle the .40 S&W. Not knowing when the trigger will break can be a good thing if you only press the trigger when the sights are aligned. It's a can't miss proposition, but not well suited to a SHTF situation.

Im thinking it is because i just dont shoot much anymore. I was new to pistols when i bought my 9mm and i got used to that but i shot it way more than the .40. I think allof this time sitting and thinking about it and not actually getting out and shooting is going to my head

its a hand canon in any kahr polymer gun, would not be my choice of caliber, but u can magna port it and help it alot and probably enjoy some nice range time to...thats why u hardly see any +P 40 ammo to...

It's not bad in mine. I like shooting it but my 9mm is easier on the hand. I like to use the rubber Hogue grip so it doesn't eat up your hand.

Personally, I like .40 cal...............................I find that it helps to really get to know your trigger at the range...........................it helps me to stage the trigger..............take up the slack in the trigger, then squeeze.......makes things easier for me.
