Today was a good day. I went to the range at lunch to start the break in on my new CM9. This little gun is one sweet shooter. My experience with compacts has always been that they're a handful and tend to be snappy. Not so. It shot like a dream and had no failures of any type and was more accurate than I was today. I put 100 rounds of Fiocchi hard ball through it and another 50 of Federal no hiccups even with mixed mags. Super sold and stoked on this lil pistol. Thanks to all of the dedicated members here at Kahr Talk for all the great tips on lubrication and break in. I can't wait for my next range day and next to take a ccw training course and get my CWP.

Welcome! In my opinion the CM9 is one of the best sub compacts out there, and the price can't be beat. Mine has been flawless. Happy Shooting!

Welcome. It is a good idea to take a class, but not necessary to get your permit in Washington.

Thanks for the kind words and welcomes. I know I don't have to have a class, but I feel like it's worth it. I've been shooting handguns since 99 when I bought my first 9mm. I was out shooting the other 3 lanes in use at Wades on my first day out and with a sub compact, win.

Interesting handle you have there, W.T. Do I detect a hint of military experience. I was a member of Uncle Sam's canoe club for a number of years. A lot of former military here. Welcome aboard.
