The state of Kentucky’s oldest World War II veteran, and the oldest World War II vet in the country, passed away (http://www.ijreview.com/2014/10/195226-oldest-vet-country-worried-one-come-funeral-looked-like-passed/) October 21st. Roscoe Cassidy was 107 years old, and his fear was that because he had outlived so many of the people he knew, there would be no one to attend his going away service.
As it turned out, his worries were unfounded. A throng of friends, family, veterans and even strangers showed up to honor him at his funeral, held on October 25, 2014. It is an inspiration to see that a person’s dedication to his country is not forgotten.

I suppose the President sent a dignitary to attend the services like he did for Michael Brown? After all, Roscoe Cassidy was the oldest living WWII veteran in the State of Kentucky AS WELL AS the country. Just my take on what this administration thinks of those who served.
