Walther P22 for $275

local person is selling a walther p22 for $275 obo.. found them online for like 300+.. would be a nice pistol to target shoot..
thoughts? opinions on the walther?

My friends wife bought one...............................it's ok. You get what you pay for. Trigger is better than I thought it would be, otherwise nothing special.

I would get a Ruger SR22, they can be had at the same kind of prices. The Walther has the ZAMAK slide, vs the Ruger Aluminum and steel insert slide. I have not had any feed issues with the SR22, but did with the P22... the Ruger eats a wider variety of ammo well, including the bulk pack....

+1 on the SR22, also look at the S&W 22A. We have both here and both are very good shooters with good triggers and great sights. The S&W in particular will devour anything.

Bingo...My wife has a SR22 and it is a fine running little gun...
