Hello folks...first post here...
I found a PM9 for sale from a guy I know. It came with the Crimson Trace grips, Nemesis holster, 2 six round mags and 1 seven round magazine. Also came with the Mitch Rosen IWB holster. It had less than 200 rounds fired with no issues. I will admit I haven't been a big fan of Kahr. However I had no real world experience to base this assumption off of.
Currently for small carry guns I have a XDs 9mm, G26, and a Beretta Nano. But the PM9 always intrigued me. The size is appealing and when this came up for sale because my friend needed cash I jumped on it and have to admit its a really nice little gun.
my perception of the PM9 was I thought it wouldn't be a real great quality gun. Glad to say I was wrong it seems. The frame seems better built than I expected it was and the slide is really well machined and the whole gun it's just really well finished not to mention a great fit. I also think the trigger is really nice.
I read and heard great stuff on the PM9 then I would read stuff like seeing a post about broken frame rails, etc. but what gun has never had an issue? I am really excited to get out and shoot it because I think I'm going to enjoy carrying this.

Welcome. I think you will really enjoy your PM9.
Sadly, another individual who's been sucked in to the dark side and assimilated. When will they learn to listen to the voices of experience and heed the warnings? Caution! Don't Touch! Danger! Even Pete attempted to warn Delmar and Ulysses Everett McGill - "Do..Not..Seek..The Treasure".
Well, as long as you're here, you might as well sit and make the best of it. You now own the best and most amazing sub-compact 9MM on the planet. Okay everybody, move down a spot and make room for another one.

I don't know about the CM9, all my 9's are full size. But I am sure liking my CM45, with a CT laser. I bought a Boberg as a collectors item for a compact 9. It has a bit longer barrel for a pistol of it's size, giving more FPS and FPE.
It ran flawless until I sent it in for some factory upgrades, and they screwed it up. It's doing much better now, but I haven't got my 200 flawless rounds though it. It may take one more trip back to the mothership.

Had kahr made the cm9 before I bought my PMJ9, I would have owned it.. I see no real quality differnces in the internals. If u don't like th cm front pinned site, then the PMseries is the way to go. I don't consider this a ral quality issue, some might thought. Polygonal over standard rifling, WHO caes, u probably wont shoot either one better than the utter . Millions of standard rifled barreled gun oput there in the open market. Don't dfowngrade any cm series, for IMO kahr didn't cut any quality corners that should really make a difference in reliability. These are pure defense guns, not target guns per say. IMO if u wana bust bneer cans at 25 yards, est buy a nutter gun. If u want stuff a gun in ur front pocket, then your in the right home herre with kahrs guss. Just my 21 cents on this..

Welcome to the forum!
PM9 makes a great carry gun, I'm glad you like yours. Just me but not sure how I feel about the laser other than for practice.

My experience with lasers has convinced me they are a must for a carry gun. Night sights are ok at night but I don't much care for them in daylight. Lasers don't work well in bright light, but you still have the stock sights. Just my $.02.

I wpould like to think a person who trains with a laser could be very very efficient especialy at nite time over just common nite sites. I can say I had a CT on one of my J frames smiths in the grip and that gun was deadlyt accurate with that site on it, compred with ol jockos normal "all over the tgarget groups" I was a tad slower getting on taregt for some reason but the shots were good togo from the first shot though.

I actually like the CT laser on it. Since it came with it I just decided to keep it on it. About a month back I almost bought a used PM9 but it was just not in very good condition. I am glad I held out and found this one.
CM9 is my EDC pocket carry. I can not think of another pistol that would work as well for me. I recently am considering adding a Crimson Trace.

I totally agree. I've got a CT on my P380 and thinking to get one for my PM9 also.

Also I have noticed there is not a problem finding quality holsters for the PM9 with the CT. Mine came with a Desantis pocket holster, a Mitch Rosen from Kahr's site, and I have a Talon IWB on the way. The Mitch Rosen is really nice.
i have a Beretta Nano and I love that little pistol too but the PM9 is even smaller. I never really cared for Kahr because there are so many other small guns I have even though they are not as small. The Glock 26, XDs 3.3 9mm, Beretta Nano are some of my other choices so why would I need a PM9?
The main reason is I wanted to see for myself just how good the PM9 was. Again I am glad I did. I have been very happy with it. I am not a 'fanboy' of any particular gun really. So will it replace my other small carry guns? No. Those are all keepers but so is my PM9. I just like having options and the PM9 is another great option I am very pleased to have.
