Is this slide stop contact an issue I should be concerned about?
The screw is tight, I don't dare move it from where it is, I don't want to strip it.

The slide stop shows very, very minor wear. I can see the contact point just to the rear of the barrel lug, but it's hard to see.

What do you guys think?

I have about 300 rounds through the cm9 with not one single issue. Love it.
I did all the prep stuff before I shot round number one.

I personally wouldn't mess with it. Not hurting a thing and it should reach a point where it won't wear anymore, lap in so to speak.
The screw is apparently a little canted or something.

That was my thought as well, the screw is just slightly off perpendicular the frame, and the front edge is slightly touching.
I am going to keep an eye it

Don't fix what ain't broke. You can't make it better than perfect.

But it isn't perfect if the screw runs on stuff.

Also,I was thinking about it,I have More like 450 through out, if that matters.

I don't think it really matters that much. It's mostly just cosmetic and not even that as you can only see it when the guns torn down.

I think it will just reach a point and stop and all will be fine.

My PM9 also shows the same kind of wear on the screw, but the gun is running great for over 3,400 rounds. It's just cosmetic. Unless your gun is malfunctioning (which it is not), I wouldn't worry about it.

Seriously, if you have no issues, run it. Besides, it will show you if the screw is coming loose as the wear pattern will move, so it is a form of torque check in a round about way. If you ever need to remove it, count the turns until it comes free and the wear pattern will show you when it is snug and torqued correctly...

Bug or Feature, they both end with a letter....:p

The tolerances of these little arms is so tight. That means every thing must be as drawn as far as specs are concerned, and it also means appropriate lube must be used.
These guns like to be lubed and clean.
