Agree just plain weird and not needed, especially if you are left handed.

Yep, that thing is worthless for right handers, and beyond worthless for *lefties like myself.
*Note, leftie as in being left handed, not a liberal.

The problem does exist, you just don't see it. ;) Taurus needs a new product to regain attention and market share, and this is their answer.

I recall about 15 years ago when some compound bow came out with an angled grip on the riser. Idea was that when you extend your bow arm naturally your wrist and fist is not straight up and down so why not a bow with a grip/handle section angled more naturally? It really did seem like a good idea but apparently for whatever reason(s) didn't take hold. Probably whats going to happen with this curved gun idea is it'll just fade away. 100 years from now someone will own a curiosity.

have you ever taken a look at their revolver, "the view"? smallest, lightest snubbie revolver ever made. the side plate is clear lexan so the gunsmith can show the customer where the problems are and why it's going to be a $200 trigger job. Taurus, always good for a laugh.

I like to see different approaches to solving a problem. The pistol looks like it is so much thicker to allow for the magazine and the curve that I wonder why a holster shaped with some curvature doesn't accomplish the same thing. The great thing is the market will ultimately decide.

kinda tells us lefty's to go fokk ourselves to. They probably paid some engineer 100K plus to come up with this idea, insteadof just shooting him in front of allthe design staff, as a signal to not do it again. I bet they are real proud of that, I would certainly patent that design, Just sayin.
stupid is as stupid does: Forrest gump..

They must have had a run of warped frames out of the ejection mold they wanted to use somehow. Or, a desperate move to be different than all the others.

I haven't been able to find much order in the old world lately, but I'll keep looking. As to the curve thing mines in the kitchen preparing lunch. :)
