I've got a friend that carries a SP 101 in a Galco Ankle Glove and loves it. I bought a cheaper ankle rig several years ago and just couldn't get comfortable with ankle carry. Never tried another rig, just decided it wasn't my thing. As far as a revolver I would think any lighter weight snubby would work well. My choice would probably be an Airweight or LCR.

The Galco is a good rig. I carried a Colt Cobra for years, nice and light and holds 6.

Any of the 5 shot snubbies now days should carry well.

I now ankle carry the PM45.

Remember that any gun carried on the ankle will need to be cleaned more often.

I never tried ankle carry. Just can't warm up to the idea. But I gotta think an Airweight or Ruger LCR would be the best way to go. An SP101 seems like an awful lot bouncing around down there. But I guess I shouldn't argue with those who've tried it. Galco is good stuff BTW.
