Purchased this yesterday and started the break in today. Cleaned and oiled it first then put 25 rounds of factory FMJ through it with no malfunctions. Accuracy is really good, but I agree with what I read: it shoots a little low at 15 yards. The most impressive thing is how little recoil there is compared to other 45s I have shot, no more felt recoil than my 9mm. Maybe the bicyle inner tube I put on as a grip helped that, but it was very surprising how pleasant it was to shoot this weapon.
The only negatives are difficulty in racking the slide and the disassembly/take-down process. But it shoots great, and I am very pleased with this purchase. Thanks, guys, for all the good information on this forum.

Racking the slide and breakdown get easier with time and break in

Most people who say that these guns shoot low are not using the correct sight picture. The dot on the front sight is supposed to cover the intended point of impact. If you are using the 6 o'clock hold that most bullseye shooters use the gun will shoot about 2" low.

Thanks, guys. Good to know all this.
First time at the range today with my CW45 as well. It's had ~500 rounds through it and compared to my new PM9, the slide is incredibly easy to rack. Also for takedown, the CW45 comes apart easy whereas my new PM9 usually takes a modest effort to do it just right. So yeah, once you hit a few hundred rounds through the CW45, it really will be a different, nicer, broken-in gun.

just buy a half dozen snap caps and throw them in with 30 live rounds and let a friend load ur magazines for you. I can assure u this method is better than any dryfiring ractice u will ever do. It will show ur shooting errors first hands, IMO dryt firing is OK but u know up front that you willnot be experiences the BANG thing, so there for everything goes perfect, Its the BANG thing tat cause shooter error, ANTICIPATION of the BANG is somerting a shooter never knows without the BANG thing happening. A magazine with oine or wo snap caps in it and u don't know it, will show that anticipation first hand. This is a surewaya to test out LOW. Before I would adjust my site picture I would eliminate the anticipation thing first. Nod oubt ( I a a good examp,le of that to) a shooter can master a bad habit and actualy adjust to it to tighten his groups up , but practice does not make perfect bu perfect practice does, So why not try to do it right..Just sayin

Over 2500 rounds thru mine and it has shot point of aim from the very first. The more you shoot it the better you will like it.
