What holster do I need? I'm hoping to carry in FR and RR pockets of similar size. Any thoughts about this?

Recluse OS. If you have a trigger guard type laser on your CW 380 you'll need the solo plus style to hold the mag. Without a laser the smaller solo can accommodate the extra mag.

I'd personally stick with mag in the opposite pocket. If you need that extra mag your right hand is gonna be busy, adrenaline is gonna be flowing like Niagara Falls, (never seen it myself but I hear it puts out the water).
Left hand would be an easy and natural draw.
A holster w/ mag pouch reminds me of those tools that do 15 different things, usually they will do it but not really good at any of them you know what I mean Vern?

I don't like pocket carry. I carry my pistol IWB on my strong side and my extra mag in a Kydex holder on the opposite side. I can draw one-handed sitting or standing and if I'm holding my pistol with my strong hand, it's really awkward to have your reload in a pocket on the same side. if you need the reload, what the heck are you going to do... call time out?
I'm with Bawanna on this. The reload should be easily accessible with your weak hand... usually the left. It's more than a bit awkward... and hazardous to your health to have your reload on the side that's holding the weapon! What do you do... switch hands... lay your weapon down... ask the perp to hold your pistol while you use the SAME hand to dig into your pocket?? Think about it!!

I need my reload and gun on the same side due to my prosthesis on my left side. When I reload, I transition the gun to my prosthesis and then grab my reload with my right hand.

This may sound crazy but have you considered carrying a second CW380 instead of a second mag?

I removed "dumb" from my previous comment... didn't understand your requirement.

This review of the Recluse OS holster has a good explanation with photos, and demos the model with the spare mag. Hope it helps.

One little fact can change the whole scenario. I've spent 20 years adjusting to full time life on wheels. Went several directions from hanging stuff on the chair, some on the chair, some on me.
I've pretty much 180'd and now keep my stay alive stuff on my person. If I'm out of the chair for whatever reason, I become a nekkid sheep. Get in a car with somebody else, same thing.
So for the most part everything stays on me.
Even in your situation I'm not totally on board with the mag in the same pocket as the gun but that may be your best option. Even the mag in the back pocket or my preference would be gun in back pocket and mag in front pocket.
And the idea mentioned of a second gun is sound and perhaps the best plan yet.
It could go ankle or front and back pocket or whatever.
Whatever you end up doing you'll undoubtedly modify or improve as you go along and determine what works and what doesn't. Been there and done that.

I appreciate the advice. I have a pretty good reload method. Time wise, I do pretty well in IDPA with 2 handed folk.
The story with this gun is pretty basic. I have a Keltec P32. It is a fine pistol and an ok carry gun, but a little weak. Still ok.
Then I see the CW380 which has real sights and a bigger caliber, with slide lock and the small size/weight of the P32. I say, I gotta buy it. Well, at $350+ locally, I pass. When I saw it at PSA for $239 Black Friday, I knew I needed one!
So now it is on the way, but what holster? I know it will be pocket carry. Mostly shorts, but some winter coat carry...90% med size square pockets. Willing to carry the mag separate, but my P32 experience says it should be on my right side. Belt carry is a no go. This gun will offer be in sweat pants, etc.
Remora seems like a decent idea, if it works and if it can be put in a pocket. Opinions?
Recluse looks good, but I'm a little nervous about the trigger holder. Experience?
If I had my druthers, it would be a holster and mag together, sewn at the bottom to a flat piece of leather formed into a wallet shape that is formed over the back of the gun to hide any sticking out of the rear pocket and to provide some draw guide.

I carry a P380 in a recluse (no spare mag). For me, the trigger holder has been the best thing about it. Very secure yet quick and easy to draw

what's a CT?
The new "stretched" version of the CW380 - it's a 7+1:

I just ordered one from Bud's online for $297 delivered to my FFL in Austin. Should be here by Thursday.
Am wondering if it will be too big for the Desantis Nemesis my LCP rides in?
I don't carry a spare mag. For me, the pocket mousegun is just an announcement to the bad guys that I'm leaving the scene.
You have probably already decided on what to do about your holster, but just wanted to contribute. I have a Sticky Holster that works very well for me for IWB or pocket carry. I also have a Hunter leather holster for pocket that has the hiding flap. Both work very well for me.
As for carrying a magazine, I do not bother with one. I'm going by the info I've read that the majority of incidents only involve 3 rounds. I'm with Armybrat.
There is a company that makes a magazine spring system for the Kahr 380 mag that increases its capacity by 1 round. I would do that mod before I would carry a spare magazine. Company is called MagGuts.
Now this is just what "I would do". People can recommend that I carry a spare mag. That's fine. I'm fairly new to CC, (not firearms) and I'm still learning. Right now this is what I'm comfortable with. Hope you find what fits you best. Please Let us know.

I purchased a Remora Pocket/IWB (http://www.remoraholsterstore.com/Remora-Series-2ART-Holster-p/series-2art.htm) for my CW380 and really like it. I was a little skeptical of their "no clip" design, but after using it, it works exactly as advertised. It stays put without the clip, it really is a nice little holster.
But the holster I use the most for concealed carry is this Ankle Deputy (http://www.readyholster.com/ankle-holster-size-aa11-p-7213) by Ready Holster. I wear it all day, practically every day and don't even notice that it's there. It's well made and very comfortable. I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for an ankle holster.

I carry my spare magazine in my back-up gun. I carry a CM9 AIWB and a P380 in my right front pocket. This gives me 14 rounds of fire power and far less chance of a fumble.

^^^ That's a plan I am slowly coming around to. And if there is some reason you need to take off the waistband carry, you still have the .380 in your pocket.
