I bought a new PM9 yesterday. Took it home and followed this forum's Kahr Prep and lubrication threads. I just returned from the range after a 300 round break in. Results follow:
25rds Winchester 9mm 124gr NATO – Perfect Function
50rds Speer GDHP 124gr +P - Perfect Function
50rds Federal HST 124gr +P - Perfect Function
50rds Remington Golden Saber 124gr +P Bonded - PerfectFunction
50rds Federal HST 124gr Standard Pressure – 1 FTRTB
50rds Speer GDHP 124gr Standard Pressure – 1 FTRTB
25rds Remington Golden Saber 124gr Standard Pressure - PerfectFunction
One of the FTRTB required me to remove the slide and then reassemble. Was perfect again after that. Very happy with this pistol.

I like Golden Sabers for my defensive ammo. I've found that they will feed in almost any pistol.
Also, both of the FTRTB issues were with standard ammo. That indicates to me that the pistol is still a bit tight and needs a few more rounds to loosen up.

Winchester Ranger-T 147Gr for me.
That looks like one heck of an expensive range trip!
Where are you finding 9mm HST?

Yeah I had to stop buying HST because I couldn't find it anywhere in any significant numbers! Moved to Ranger-T and have no problems finding it, but I do miss ol' HST.

Indeed it was but I have a lot of 9mm stockpiled over the past few years. What made the cost of ammo less painful was that the PM9 with Crimson Trace Laserguard was only $525 with free shipping from Bud's Gun Shop in Kentucky. No idea why it was so inexpensive but I had to jump on that deal.

PM9, two CM9s and a P45 here without a single malfunction over thousands of rounds.

Check out Shootingthebull410 on YouTube. He's testing many types of ammo in gel from a short barrel gun like the PM9. HST regular or +P any weight meets FBI requirements, perhaps the best ammo he's ever tested(May be why it's hard to find). Gold Dots need to be +P to get enough velocity to expand. Regular GD goes thru 2 blocks of gel and never expands! He's tested over 30 types so far. Also large test done on 380 ammo came up with 4 types that meet FBI standards. Check it out.
