I unconsciously slip back into the bad habit of placing the trigger on the crease between the first and second joint of my trigger finger and shooting just a tad to the right. When I go with the first joint I'm on target. I know, I know, practice til it's automatic, but would a 5# spring fix that? And would the 5# be ok for pocket carry?

I actually recommend that finger (crease) placement for many Kahr owners but not for you I guess since it causes you to miss.
Yes, practice
No, I wouldn't expect the lighter spring to automatically fix it for you
Yes, it's fine to carry with the lighter spring although I prefer the standard.
Now go out and buy some ammo. :)

I use it and it works for me.

Me too, neither. All the the five pound spring will do is make the trigger pull 2# lighter. It's still long and plenty safe.

interesting. was shooting with my uncle, he is lefty, and his eyesight not so good. I was
asked to help him sight in some of his firearms. I did so from a bench and they were all on target for me, but were pushed right for him. My wife watched him shoot and could see the barrel moving right when he shot. So I suggested using the crease/joint of his index vice the pad. On target consistently after that. Everyone's hand mechanics are different, and his case his fat digits were pushing things instead of pulling the trigger straight back.
