So a few years ago I got a pm9 to try as I conceal carry . I normally carry a glock 26 and I like their triggers . So shortly later sold it..then bought a cm9..had it for awhile..no problems from either Kahr..then went back to glock..now I've sold most of my guns and went and got another new cm9 the other day that has been near flawless..only a couple little easy malfunctions from the break in and hasn't had anymore problems since and I've put about 500rds in it. Its a great well rounded..really well machined..true thin subcompact 9mm pistol. I'm not getting rid of this one. I have a little range at my parents house and my dad had some iron railroad plate ties that we hung up and they make a really nice metal gong sound ..don't know why I never used them in the first place. I'm getting really good with this pistol getting used to the trigger. I just installed a Wolff 5lb striker spring..can't really tell much of a difference yet just dry firing. Anyways here's a pic...

Thanks for the pics. You know...I really like the simple cuts of the CM slides.

For me, the 5lb springs help me keep the front sight on the target. Enjoy your new pistol!

You'll notice a difference at the range with the 5# striker spring. I know I did.

WELL THERE IS NOT ALOT OF POUNDAGE DROP in kthe first place, so it coud be u won't feel that difference UT there is difference Ur kahr factory triger is suposed to be around 7.4# but I hgve seen very few that ever weigh in at that, and then after shooting the factory trigger it will even drop some more as the striker5 spring does take some sort of a set. But the same will happen with the 5# striker spring, it will take a set and even be lower than the 5#. Its a great drop in mod and IMO makes the no more unsafer either, as the trigger travel never changes, only the effort to pull it. IMO takes a hell of a good shooter (someone like muggsy) to actuly tell a 1.5# difference in a trigger system... Just sayin

I think I know how you're feeling about your CM9. Never thought I would but sold my G26 about a year after getting my PM9. Just wasn't carrying the G26 much anymore what with my PM9 almost always being chosen over my G26. For my purposes the CM/PM9 is pretty near the perfect carry pistol.
