Reassembly of CM9 Slide Stop and Spring

I searched and didn't readily find an answer.

I know with the CW models the slide stop spring needs to be captured by the slide stop on reassembly. I just cleaned my CM9 and don't have a chance to shoot it before I next carry it. I typically clean at the range and then shoot a few rounds but this time it wasn't in the cards. My question...is the CM model like the CW model in that the spring needs to be captured by the slide stop or it becomes a single shot? I find it hard to tell on the CW models when I have it reassembled properly.

It's very easy to tell buy using a function test. With an empty mag in the gun the slide should lock back when pulled fully to the rear. With the mag removed from the gun the slide shouldn't lock back when pulled fully to the rear.
